PROFESSIONAL
We had Chris and his crew work for us on 2 separate occasions. Both times involved patios, retaining walls, concrete steps, grading and some drainage work. I have worked around trades for my whole life and I was immediately struck by their level of professionalism. The work was very impressive and their attention to detail and accuracy was evident. They always conducted themselves with dignity and were exceptional at cleaning up, sweeping the street at end of day and looking after their work site. If you want very high quality work from a group of well-mannered professionals, this is your company. Thank you, Chris! My wife and I look forward to working with you again! :)
NEIGHBOR COMPLIMENTS
We completely redid our backyard by installing a new retaining wall and adding a new patio. Chris and his team (Kevin and Jamie) did an excellent job. We are happy with the results. The quality of the work is professionally done and in a timely manner. We get a lot of positive compliments from our Neighbours. If we have any questions or needed recommendations, Chris is quick to respond and is very knowledgeable.

GREAT COMMUNICATION
After getting at least 6 other quotes, we had Chris see our yard/slope which is fairly complicated. He spent alot of time measuring and talking to us about what we needed. His communication was excellent and punctual emailing us clear diagrams and accurate quotes. He did his best to keep within our budget but didn't shy away from letting us know what it would take. The final cost was exactly what he quoted us. When the work started, his crew was polite, professional and fast. They kept everything to code, installing proper drainage and keeping to height restrictions.
PERFECTIONIST
We had Fortress replace a failing retaining wall and fence. Chris, Lance and the crew were fantastic, they were totally professional, reliable and friendly. Their work was fastidious, with an attention to detail that's best described as 'perfectionist'. The job was started and finished on time, and stayed on budget. I would not hesitate to work with them again, and have already recommended Fortress to friends and neighbours.
ON TIME, ON BUDGET
Chris was able to schedule our relatively small retaining wall project amongst his other larger projects, however we were treated as a valued, important client and received first class service throughout. His team arrived on time, communicated daily, acted respectfully of the neighbours, kept the job site immaculate and finished on time and on budget. The quality of the completed work and our experience with Fortress were both top notch. On top of it all Fortress was the most competitively priced of three quotes. Highly recommend!!
QUALITY AND SPEED
Chris and the Fortress crew replaced a 50 x 6 foot wooden tie retaining wall at the rear of our yard, and at the same time built a longer wall adjacent to our property for our neighbor. This was a challenging job due to difficult access for the machinery, however it was done efficiently and we are very satisfied with the results. Fortress' price was in the middle of the three firms which quoted on the project, and we consider this to be good value for the quality and speed of the work done.
